As you may have seen from Rufus’s blog, on 31st March we started our search for Member Pioneers. We’re looking for people who share our passion to make great things happen locally. They’ll listen & connect members, colleagues and local causes, understand what matters to them and inspire them into action, working together to do great things in their community.

Since going live with our recruitment drive for new Member Pioneers we’ve had over 300 applications. Whilst it’s been wonderful to see the passion so many of us have for our local communities, many of these applications come from areas we aren’t currently recruiting in. We need to first focus on the areas we set-out to launch this programme in, and build from there.

I’m pleased to announce that we’re now widening our recruitment into new communities across the UK, so there’s now more opportunity for you to get involved.

We’re holding a live chat session Monday 24 April – 4 pm, where you can ask questions about applying to become a Member Pioneer.

We are now recruiting Member Pioneers in the following new communities

  1. You need people to get on board who eat a non main stream diet. Vegans, Vegetarinen, gluten free, non dairy diet. I love that your bread is suitable for vegans, and some of your donuts but you need better advise to shoppers on your products. Also stop using palm oil as this is damaging rain forest, and its animals. I love co op foods and being a vegan like the choice .
