At the Co-op we’re different because we’re owned by our members. That’s why each year if you’ve spent over £250 or more in our Food stores or purchased a product from one of our other businesses we’ll ask you to have a say and take part in our Annual General Meeting (or AGM for short.)
Taking part means you can vote on:
- Key decisions (motions) that affect the way we do business
- Candidates standing for your Board as Member Nominated Directors
- Candidates standing for your Member’s Council
This year, we’ll be holding some Co-op Way fringe events where we’ll be sharing our thoughts on areas which matter most to us and listening to your views. This will help shape our future action.
It would be great to see our members at our AGM in Manchester on Saturday 20 May but if you can’t make it you can still let us know what you think.
Members can vote online on motions and for candidates by midday on Monday 15 May 2017. Members can also vote on motions, but not candidates, in person at our AGM.
