I’m very pleased to announce that our Co-op is investing £50 million to cut the cost of everyday food at our stores. This investment means that on average more than 600 products will now cost 14% less and some products have been lowered by over 40%.
Big discounts across fresh food makes it easier for Co-op Members and customers to shop healthier as well as fill their cupboards and these prices cuts are part of our ambition to be the UK’s number one convenience retailer.
Co-op fruit, vegetables, bread, fresh meat and ready meals, as well as household brand names have had their prices trimmed, helping our customers save almost £120 a year on their food bills.
