Dundee Bairns charity for local children

I shop in the Co-op often but I had no idea that 1%* of my spend goes to charities like this. When I learned about what I can do with my membership card I chose David at Dundee Bairns to give my Co-op Member 1% community reward to.

Choose your Co-op local cause

It’s projects like ‘Fun and Food’ ran by David at Dundee Bairns that I am proud to support.

“In some schools, a lot of children were on free school meals, but during the holidays there was no provision. So we set up the ‘Fun and Food’ programme for Dundee Bairns. In the last 2 years we’ve provided 75,000 meals and we do all of that through funding from local charities and from the Co-op” Dundee Bairns

As a member, when you buy selected Co-op products and services, 1% of your spend goes to your chosen local community cause. You also get 5% back on your Membership card to spend at Co-op too*.

  1. The 1% members dividend donation scheme is a marvellous way to provide much need financial help to charities and local not for profit community groups.
The only wee complaint I have received is the problem some groups appear to have accessing the Application Form on the Web-Site and knowing their application has been accepted. Many Thanks Seasons Greetings to All. Tom
