Living Well Bromley is a charity based in South London, offering a support network for members of their local community experiencing isolation, debt and homelessness. Our local cause provides a foodbank, community lunches and community group activities including the Blend Community Choir which has benefited from the Co-op’s Local Community Fund.

Thanks to the support of Co-op Members through the Local Community Fund, we are now able to create and produce 3 free concerts which will help build confidence amongst those performing and challenge stereotypes about what vulnerable/homeless people can achieve.

The support from the local community means a lot to us, they are so welcoming and offer a lot of friendship. Which is what we also see from our local Co-op, they have helped our cause so much and really show passion in supporting people to get back on their feet. It means a lot to us that so many Members have chosen to support our cause.

It’s amazing that Co-op Members have helped raise 19 million for local causes like ours just by buying selected Co-op branded products and services.

  1. Im only to happy to help the community but priority should be helping our co workers; we are so short staff that one co worker had to work a 16.5 hour shift yesterday because there was no one could help cover a shift .phoning other shops to ask for help is a waste of time as they are all in the same situation.
